**This course is an approved preparatory course to take the Pharmacy Technician’s Board Certification exam, which is a national standardized exam for Pharmacy Techs. Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to work effectively with pharmacists and provide services to customers. Upon successful completion of one hundred hours of classroom time, students will be recommended to intern in a local pharmacy. To work in a pharmacy, students must be able to obtain fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice. |

This is a project based class in which students will combine their classroom learning with real hands-on landscape projects. Students will learn the fundamentals of landscape maintenance which would allow them to work for Public Works, Schools, and other institutions as well as landscape contractors. Do-it-yourself homeowners would also benefit from taking this course.

This course provides instruction and training for students interested in careers related to teaching and child care. Students who achieve competency in this course will develop knowledge and skills in child development, learn education industry awareness, safety and emergency procedures, developmentally appropriate practices, and effective communication skills. Students will also learn how to work with special needs children. This class provides internships for students in elementary school, parks and recreation, pre-schools, licensed day cares and social service agencies. CPR certification is part of the course. Entry-level positions include teacher assistant and instructional aide.
